Welcome to Growler Tape! If this is your first time using Growler Tape, then please watch a short, informative video to get started. The first video covers wrapping growlers, the second one covers wrapping bottles. Both are very similar.
Additional instructional videos coming soon.
Growler Taping a growler for extended life or even cellaring.
Growler Taping a bottle for freshness and potential cellaring.
Remember a few key points:
- There is a thin white film that protects the tape. You’ll need to separate it from the Growler Tape itself as you unwrap and use your Growler Tape. It’s easiest to leave a little bit of the white film overlapping the Growler Tape when you cut, so that you don’t have to separate it from the tape again on the next use.
- Wrap in a clock-wise manner if the top is a screw top. Otherwise you might be loosening the top while wrapping.
- Pull the Growler Tape taught to stretch it about 1.5x to 2x its length as you wrap. It’s best to get it started, then try to pull from the end of the tape so as to apply a uniform wrap.
